Third of four young Malinois currently training for a slot on the LAPD Metro K9 Platoon is Dart. Dart passed his first test at the time he was chosen from a breeder in Slovakia, when he greeted newcomers with a tail wag, friendly greeting, and readily accepted a leash, but many pitfalls lay ahead before he is fully certified for field work.
